Watch Your Language 2018

I have been invited to deliver a workshop at the Watch Your Language 2018 conference on Thursday 12th April 2018.
Interpreting for deaf students in higher education.
This workshop is aimed at CSWs and BSL / English interpreters who undertake interpreting work in higher education and will be of interest to deaf students and those involved in facilitating support. Discussions will include: what does education interpreting look like? how is this different to other domains? what makes a good education interpreter? what do deaf students want? The session will be a mixture of small group activities and information sharing: hope to share the pilot study data with the group.
