Special Children’s Weekend at ZSL London Zoo 19-20th May 2018

This is the highlight of my interpreting calendar and this year was another fun-packed weekend.
Each year we have a programme of interpreted talks for deaf families. Penguin Beach Live is always popular but my favourite and where I was described as having the energy of a children’s television presenter, was Animals in Action. Here, we take a tour of the world and the audience can see animals from different habitats and learn about their adaptations, including meerkats, an armadillo, a very cute owl, parrots and goats.
